WORKOUT

Branch follows what he calls a “power routine.” He trains four days per week with the following split.

Monday – Chest and Biceps
Tuesday – Hamstrings and Quads
Wednesday – Off
Thursday – Shoulders, Triceps, and Calves
Friday – Back and Traps
Saturday – Off
Sunday – Off


Branch trains very heavy, so his rep range usually lies between 5 and 10 reps. To shock his muscles, he'll often ramp up to 20, 30, or even more than 50 reps. He also includes drop sets as a part of his routine.

Branch does cardio every day when preparing for a contest, but does not incorporate it as much in the off-season.
